Adaptive running animation

This was a for-fun project to see if I could set a system up to auto-adjust feet and hips height for a run, reusing my Hunter Kinght rig.
Up to a certain height difference it worked fairly well without any manual adjustments, but for the larger gaps I did have to polish it.

Nevertheless, for a couple of well-placed constraints and a few keyframes I'm very happy with the effort-result ratio for the final animation.

The finished preduct - a running cycle that semi-procedurally adapts to radom terrain

A side-by-side comparison of the different stages of the setup.
